            5 I assume a rotary phone is one with a dial you stick a finger in and turn.
            They also spelt cheque wrong, so it could be 6 as I never used a check.

                Its probably American, I've never heard of a rotary phone either, I think we used to dial a number, so I'd call it a phone with a dial.

                            I wouldn't dream of taking mine with me during the night but when I am up and dressed it is always in my trouser pocket. Unlike my good lady who leaves hers beside the settee, just beside the landline, then wonders why she misses calls!
