Of all the... I think I'm missing the lockdown! I liked it when people weren't on your g.d. heels when you're going through the cash at the shop

 

At my local Sainsbury's they've installed a camera and screen at each self service check out, so you can watch yourself scanning each item and putting it in your bag. Apparently this is an attempt to reduce "leakage".
Walking home I came up with two simple ways round it.

 

Just reading something and it refers to life in the Edwardian era.
Why cant they just give you dates, its stupid because not everyone, especially me, knows which kings a queens were on the throne at what times.
Victorian, Elizabethan, Georgian none of it means anything to me nor half the world I would guess.

 

Clear as mud.

 

Because it was the "start of a campaign of civil resistance with the clear demand... of the social security of sustainable food".
By wasting a can of soup?

 

Why are chemist shops so empty.
All around here just have empty shelves or at least big gaps.
But go to the supermarket and it's all there it's been like that for months now.

 

Well a lot of it is the kind of stuff that used to make the shop look full is what you are saying, cosmetics and deodorants shampoo, its as if they have just stripped themselves back to a few medicines, and not much of that either, just a few of most things.

When I had my knee done back in September the day after the op I had chronic indigestion, all kinds of anaesthetics just shut down my digestive system for a couple of days, anyway I said Gaviscon usually works on me, but they said they cant get it, in short supply, and gave me some useless liquid stuff.
But prior to going in I had bought a big box in Morrisons You have to wonder who is getting priority.

 

Or keep the shortage's short and then the price will go up

 

Why do they make plugs so thin these days ? They obviously don't realise that when you're old and have arthritic hands, you need something you can grab hold of properly to unplug it !
