I prefer slabs, very low maintenance. If you don't like Riven how about "sawn" (if that's the right term?) although don't know if they are more slippery when wet?

There was a Chelsea garden this year - celebrating 100 years with various little bits for the decades - the M&G Centenary garden "Windows through time" - and that looked very smart with its sawn slabs.

It showed up well in an aerial shot on BBC ... but can't find a decent still image on Google :(

    These best I could find

Idle banter is common on this site, if that's not your thing then you are probably in the wrong place I'm afraid.

Kirsten that does look great but the trouble is I can't find any that I can afford.

Jekyll the granite looks excellent and I can afford it! Did they come out as good in real life as they do in the pic?

I used it indoors as well, cheaper than carpeting. Outside it is laid with the 'flamed' (rough) surface up to give grip in the wet. Indoors I laid it with smooth side up

I bought it from their ebay store :dbgrtmb:

Apart from the gender-swap its a rather serendipitous malapropism!

You tend to suffer from that problem on GC to Kristen or is it Kirsten. I've corrected a few along the way!
