Well, i've found the Minkie Marvels to be nice and sweet :) Grew 2 plants for seed, well away from the others that got the blight.

Starting to pick them off and ferment the seeds now, still got more to come :)

Fermenting the seeds for at least 4 days, til they smell like old socks dipped in Comfrey tea :)

Part of the heating system, it warms up during the day and gives off heat overnight. Thinking about backing it up with 5 litres of Rapeseed oil.

This is the primary heating system :)

Does the breeze block hold that much heat then?

Might it be worth trying to salvage some of those ferrite bricks from inside a storage heater?

Holds more heat than not having a breeze block :)

My money is on oil though, should be able to get a load cheap when Tescos go bankrupt next week.

I said to Mrs C this morning that they were deep in the brown smelly stuff. Had to happen I suppose, they got far too big and seemed to stop caring about both their customers and their product quality whilst riding rough-shod over anyone and everyone.

Nobody wants to see them fail, but it would be nice to see them change direction

Same here...I must say the early ones didn't have a great deal of flavour but since then they are really good,a nice 'old fashioned' tomato taste especially with a pinch of salt on them:blue thumb:
