I made one for my metal shed (will take photo and post it later) and made some hanging racks for tools.

They're rubbish construction as I'm useless at DIY but they have worked well for years.

    Here's the rack
    P1160199.JPG

I put small blocks of wood behind the upright struts, screwed long batons to the blocks and though that would be sufficient. I then realised that the tools would hang better if the batons were further from the wall. so I just screwed another baton to the original one.

            @fat controller

This is the simple ramp I mad for myself.
            P1210001.JPG

I put a small lip on the inside of the metal frame, screwed to the floor and butting up to the frame and slightly higher
            P1200999.JPG

The ramp overlaps the metal frame, resting on it
            P1210004.JPG

And then gets pushed forward until it buts up to the lip on the inside.

            P1210003.JPG

It's supported all the way across, at every level, so that it spreads the load. :blue thumb:

Thanks @shiney - I will come back to those pics when I get to the stage of making a ramp. First, I have to get the thing water tight.

There was one hell of a heavy shower this afternoon (properly throwing it down) and I now have a puddle inside the shed. It appears that the water was coming off the roof in copious amounts, falling onto the edge of the base and then running underneath the frame into the shed. So, I definitely need to screw it down and seal it inside and out with silicone.

EDIT - on a brighter note, there was only two tiny wee drips on the inside of the roof, so its not going to need much to fettle that

Found soon enough and it'll dry out quickly FC.
A job better done in the Summer ( sunburn notwithstanding) methinks,

Our shed's metal framework was screwed onto the paving slabs. We then sealed ours on the inside (and outside) of the framework before laying the marine ply tight up against the metal frame.

Never had any trouble with water getting in. :blue thumb:

If you have a nice cone shaped rack for your dishwasher then just stick them in there? :)

They are lit by electricity Kristen and it's all part of the whole unit. I can only cap the sources off with parcel tape and I use a spray gun with very hot water containing washing up liquid and Flash liquid,
a right merry game it is,
still, gotta be done 'cos they weren't sparkling anymore,

Previous house we had had a small plug for the electricity, so that the whole thing could be taken down for cleaning. Dunno if it could go in the dishwasher, but I don't see why not - perhaps without the hot drying cycle :)

Pruning the holly. Long overdue and a pig of a job. Has to be done as it's stealing all the light, food and water from that part of the garden.

Got all the diseased leaves etc off the rose. It's quite a bit more bare now but looks a lot more healthy & under control. Tidy up to do now :)

I'll be doing the same as I have all week, water, water and water some more ! And a bit of dead heading.

Looks like I'll get a break from watering at the weekend though, as heavy rain is forecast from tomorrow night on until Sunday. :love30:
