Still blowing a gale out there, had to brave the elements to pick up two pots that were about to roll into the road. Think some serious watering...
We still have power here too @Penny_Forthem , thank heavens for small mercies. Looking at the sea, it's very choppy so think our usual Sunday...
Spot on @AuntyRach !
Extremely windy and wet here in our part of North Wales. We didn't get the govt warning but then we don't have a smart phone only a dumb one....
9c, sunny spells this morning, rain and breeziness from midday onwards. Gales forecast for tomorrow.
I remember my Nana saying in the 60s that what was needed was a “coalitition” govt like during the war…..
@Tidemark , that's a good point about genuine v own brand weetabix! Ours was own brand...
The sparrows seemed to like the weetabix here, didn't notice if the crows had a go at it though.
Wet and windy is the order of the day. 13c later getting chillier tomorrow.
Going to try our birdies with weetabix here too @Tidemark @CatDouch
I've always considered it to be a Northern expression, fairly common in my yoof.Yes, the sitcom by that name is a classic!
Rain showers expected later but currently dry and calm. 7c now, rising to 11C later.
Bright and cheerful-looking today. Sunny spells promised, 6c. Dry too so my kind of day:smile:
Looks wet out there, typical Monday morning for any time of the year! 10c.
Might make a start by the end of the week. A lot of hassle but nice when it's done! Always glad to see the back of them too:gaah:
Well done @Plantminded , lovely photo!
Damp, showers expected later, mild, 12c. After two days of inactivity our dehumidifier is back in full swing.
That's a good idea for your kitchen @Goldenlily26 if you don't want to change the whole lot:)
Cloudy but bright enough considering it's still November. 14c expected, maybe a little sun too!
