Vinca likes dry shade, is evergreen and looks good around ponds. Pollinating insects like it too.
Beware if you have chickens. It’s poisonous to them and probably other birds too. I had some in my garden once and quickly got rid of it.

Why would you want to get rid of clover? It’s an excellent plant, fixes nitrogen and pollinating insects, who are struggling, benefit from it.
