100% remove it. My new garden was (and still is) full of ivy. Some trunks are inches thick. Its in hedges, swamping a tree and was climbing up...
At the moment no idea. When we moved in it had leaves so I didn't pay it too much attention. It’s only when winter came I realised it was 99% ivy....
