I have found that presoaking actually rots the seed quicker you just have to find the sweet spot [emoji1]

The sweetcorn plants i planted last year turned out a treat they grew and started to grow cobs on them until we got hit by a storm and they fell...
i would say so but you may want to buy a large pot and place them altogether in that and keep the pot indoors until the risk of frost has passed....
