As i said earlier,i didnt notice any scent,but i didn't go sticking my nose in it. Was more interested in a few piccies.:wink:
Its shaded where they are.I'm sure that you are.
i think you've hit the nail on the head there Marley. The description fits,and apart from being in a bunch,those in the picture look the same....
Thanks LoL. Will have a look at that one in the morning. If thats not it,maybe i'll just give up,or at least save it till a rainy day.:)
They look very similar,as did the periwinkle things. However,those Phlox look to be in a bunch type affair,where those that i found were a group...
Hmmmm,ok.Thank you for your help.:thumb:
I think thats it Marley. Nice one. Now get over to the identification area and help with the wild flower that i found :thumb:Your a star....and...
I just googled the periwinkle.Its similar,but i dont think its the same.Could of course be a different version of the same family though....
Heres another pic.This shows the buds which might help.......[img]
Capable,yes,done it,no. I'm trying to identify the flower as i might be using one of the pics that i took. Thing is, i cant use it if i dont know...
Nobody knows...??? :scratch::)
Might be Nick,but they've got red faces on the link.The one on my pic has a black face.
We've all seen catapillars that turn into butterflies,but i hadn't seen a black hairy one before. Just thought it might turn into something a bit...
Of course,thank you......but...,whats that ?:scratch::cnfs:
Wasn't that funny......:wink:
Came across this today whilst out and about. Gorgeous looking flower, but what is it ? [img]
Nearly ran this crawley hairy thing over on my bike today. Anyone know what it is.Its about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long,black,hairy and moves damn fast...
