2 x wild, 1 at home

    Hiya O2, yes I do have a feeder but not in that spot and have only this month started buying bird seed.

    You've made me think though, this piece of soil is where I got my tulip and I think my grape hyacinths. It is right by the forsythia and the back fence, so I'm thinking maybe the birds are doing lots of pooping down onto the soil & thats where I'm getting my free plants from:).

    Anyway, I am clearing that soil & stoning over - I'm going to lose these freebies now:( - but I have found a total of 4 of these particular ones now & have put all into pots.

    Would love to have some nice climbers out of them as we are putting abit of trellis in the corner for privacy so that would be ideal.

    Come on you lot, can't believe you're all stumped.

    Hope I don't kill them cos then we'll never know, lol.

    well it's more likely to be buckwheat the seed is the main reason it's grown for bird food

    Looks like some type of Rumex, nearly, but not quite sorrel, but the unfurling habit of the leaves is the same.
