Again though, the only one I can think of doesn't heave a scent... :dh: I am thinking of making a little scented border,l should have room for 2 roses I think.. Hmm will have to have a little think here....:D

You know what? I am going to plant one - is there one named Mr.Woo or owl rose? :)

I have a lot of plants that mean something to me ie my FIL has given me or my friend Linda who is keen on gardens too. I also have a precious fuschia that I took from my sisters garden when she moved.

Thanks Mr. Woo, that is a beauty and a Katy too!
I will take note of the name and keep it in mind. We do have a wall in our garden [neighbours garage wall] but I have honeysuckle there and have climbing hydrangea against the house wall so it would have to be on a fence?

    Roll on Spring!

What a beauty Woo, as much as I like a deep red rose, I think a yellow one is something really special. After all its the rose of peace. What more could we ask. very fitting. 02

Woo, as you are so well experienced in roses as it it your hobby.

Could I ask if you know how to go about having a new rose named after someone?

I imagine it would be quite expensive? 02
