My seed collection is SO late this year ... sorry. What to do? I can add them to the parcel when it gets to me, which will give me a bit more time to try to get them ripe, and send some to the people in front of me in the queue if they are after anything I've got ...

... or were you planning that it would go round twice maybe (I know it was discussed, but it depends on how quickly it moves I suppose ...)

As it has been such a poor year for us ,are we all ready ?,If we can go round again it would be good ,that rather depends on the quality of the parcel, also I do think it should pause 2/3 weeks before Christmas as it could get "lost" as has previously happened ,it all has to be kept moving along to work ,I will hope to get it started this weekend, if a lot of any particular seed I will keep some back and send separately further down list to "top up ".
So please : Be prepared ,bags ,labels ready: couple of days to check out if you want particular seed and on its way to next person, pm next person it has been posted and post on here dispatched and what it cost .If it can be sent as a large letter seems the cheapest,If you do not have the persons` in front of you address pm them and me, and they will be missed out,and send on to next available address,
Penny is sending some exciting sounding seeds, so if the early on list require any pm me and I will send you a few and send on remainder to whoever waiting for parcel to add in.
Any more points or queries please raise them now so we can all be sure of no hiccups and a swift circuit .
Just checked my list of names and addresses and I do not have ;Joolz, James Swann and Liliana. i will pm them. (have sent.pms)If any one else short of addresses of next person get address of one after, and the other will be missed out.

Hey, yeah, I've done it for the last two years. The kind I grow is N. Rustica, the super-potent native variety. They do grow slowly at first and they are so small until they really get going and then it's BAM!!! They start getting huge fast. I would recommend putting them under a florescent light. If they could be in front of the window and be under a light, that would be even better. I start mine indoors in late Winter and put them outside in the Spring, so your results will be different from mine, no doubt.

The roots like lots of space, so use the biggest pots you can find, one to a pot. I follow a philosophy of take care of the roots and the plant will thrive. They need lots of direct light, plenty of water and organic fertilizer.

I like to let my leaves dry out while they are still on the plant at the end of the season. Sometimes they get this beautiful golden color and smell just like honey. It is one of the most intoxicating smells I have found and the taste is incredible. I like to store the leaves in large mason jars. That way you can control the humidity.

          And found instructions for you______

Collected astrantia, mallow, cerinthe, nicandra, verbascum and allium today for the parcel. Still lots of ripening going on out in the border so hopefully will have quite a few little brown envelopes to add.
