Here's my best one so far. Picked this today, it's a Beefmaster and it looks like it's going to be my leading contender for this year.
I've got a few more lurking in the undergrowth, but I don't think any of them are going to beat this one. :)

P1030554.JPG @Scrungee , here he is at 13.5" today and still green but looking "sound". Will he turn red eventually do you think?

Thank you Loli. I think with these big beefy chaps, it would be nice to see the inside too? I have had a couple of weirdos in the window box which were obviously not Maskotkas but huge mutants. I let them grow on and I like their rather "Italian" flavour. Not overly acidic but a good Bolognese base I would think,

My big "Big Zac" has started to ripen, measured it today at 16" girth, my guesstimate is that it'll weigh in at something between 650 - 700g (1lb 8oz + in old money) and I still have more to come if the weather holds out! I wonder how big they would have been if I'd thinned out the trusses?

I have a few "Big Boys" that will probably achieve the 500g mark or above, even "Delicious" have surpassed last years miserable showing.

My outside tomatoes have notably out performed my greenhouse ones of the same variety, benefits of a decent summer I suppose.

I just wish now I hadn't ruled myself out of the competition LOL

I'll post pictures when fully ripe.

@Vince Is it from a megabloom or is a normal shaped tomato?

Most likely from a megabloom Scrungee, I did get a few but all fruits on this plant will probably exceed the 1lb mark so I suspect it's the actual plant, it gave up setting fruit after the 2nd truss!
