It's interesting that all but one of the above are different types of tomato. :)

@Kristen welcome to big tomato growing!

Do you want some seed to grow bigger ones?

That's kind, thanks, but I didn't set out to grow a big'un, just that the ones I grew, grew big!

That's why its upside down, the top looked a right mess!

I'm going to have to check tomorrow, but its 2/3rd down the greenhouse, and I'm fairly sure I planted them in alphabetical order (in case the labels got lost) so ... no, don't think so.

                [later]

Ah ... "Pink Brandwine" wasn't it? That's about 2/3rd through the alphabet so ... probably "yes" :heehee:

I hate to say this chaps ... but ... I planted it, I watered it a couple of times a week, that's it. Haven't had time this year to feed the Toms at all, not even the once poor things :( so this was all its own doing, nothing I can take credit for.

I had an extra round of Tomato sandwich at tea time today, and I've still only used up a little more than half of it. Basically too big to be useful to me I think, but it is tasty.

My last 2 bigguns. They've been picked and left a poly tunnel for a few days as I forgot about them, so would've probably been an ounce or so heavier immediately after cutting, but I've lost a bit of interest since realising I'm not going to beat my previous best (still carrying a tape measure in my pocket out of habit though).

Is it now safe to assume there will be no further entries for this competition?

I hope there's interest from others for another competition this (2014) year, but suggest that there's a requirement (as with other online comps) for a pic in progress + one on the scales.
