      Oh yes forgot to mention that! Scoffed quite a few strawberries at the weekend before the blackbirds could get to them!

        We have picked a few strawberries too, I've netted them but it looks like a mouse has got in and made off with one or two.

                I know, it was one stem this time last year, half the size that had fallen over. Must be happy now though.

                    Sowed another trough of mixed salad leaves...plus i threw in some herbs and spring onions for good measure....
                    Aw and look at my stuggleing outdoor Sweet Corn......

                            First Courgettes of the year: "Burpees Fordhook", which I have harvested before the slugs get too them and a few small chillis.. stirfry this evening !

                            Unusual for me to get fruit this early - normally I have a month of nothing but flowers - perhaps starting them off in the greenhouse has made the difference ?

                              Made more sowings of mixed salad, rocket, American cress & beetroot direct.

                              Planted out the spare plants of Loli's Celeriac, slugs had all the earlier plantings:doh:

                              Planted out more Corgettes as back up plants.
