Yes, I am planting them outside, I'll get my sets planted next weekend plus I'm growing some giant Kelsae onions for the competition on here. They will get planted outside in this same bed in 3 or 4 weeks time.

I started my runner beans a week ago Harry, they germinated really quick indoors then I moved them to my unheated GH. It's maybe a little early for them so I've only sown a few. I'll start off a few more in a couple of weeks. Dunno about Pak Choi, my feeling is it's a bit too cold outside yet, can you start some off in the GH?

I forgot all about my Red Baron and Sturnon and left them out last night - I think they should be OK, it's now warmer overnight outdoors than the last few weeks in the GH.

          Finally thawed out here..

Potato bed weeded and rotovated, now covered in black plastic to warm up. Seed tatties all chitted nicely with small strong chits. They'll go in, in this next week or so.

Onion bed next to be dug over in the next few days. Red Baron and Karmen sets in modules and are growing as are the shallots Golden Gourmet, Jemnor and Garlic Eschalotte Grise. All the Elephant garlic I planted is through and growing nicely, 5 last year and all cloves replanted so 22 this year..other autumn planted garlic (forget the name) also through.

          Planted in this last month.

          2 x Victoria Plum
          1 x Conference Pear
          1 x Stellar Cherry
          3 x Mature Redcurrants
          6 x Blackberry

All Rhubarb Crowns showing growth, 2 are being forced and have black bins on them. Most of the fruit pruning has been done but I still have one Plum tree to move.

Tomato Ailsa Craig pricked 'n potted as are our peppers, broad bean plants waiting to go in the ground.

          Recently sown..

          Cauliflower
          Broccoli
          Brussel Sprouts
          Cabbage (3 different)
          Chard
Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Early Purple sprouting and white sprouting too.
          Kohl Rabi

Today I'll be sowing the majority of our tomatoes, Sungold, Sungella and San Marzano, some Fennel and Herbs too. No doubt I'll also be sowing many others too...lol...well if you have pots, seed and compost...whats to stop you!

          Steve...:)

I've got 12 "certain" furry creatures, ALL barred from the veg patch, we've just put up a heavy duty fence to make sure!

I have sowed my Polestar and Bridgwater beans in Roottrainers in the GH today. The Mangetout and sugar snaps have just started to germinate in them . I quite like my Roottrainers now after 4 years ! They are very space efficient :dbgrtmb:
I'll leave the Pak Choi for another couple of weeks.

My Broad beans cam up a couple of days ago, and already making good progress, in Root-trainers. My Parsnips emerged today that were sown in toilet roll cores, so I'll plant them out tomorrow or monday. Made my second sowing of Tomatoes destined for outdoors. It's starting to feel like the growing season is really getting underway:blue thumb:
