No news from Madahhlia so it appears to be gone, any ideas on registering a complaint. Put it down to bad luck.
So that looks like it for the spring run, I may moot the idea of a seed bank if any interest then we can start over in autumn.
    Suggestions more than welcome.

No it`s not normally as this adds to costs, I will investigate options for a future tracking method, I have been very impressed with parcel2go, It`s collected and delivered by courier, I have sent 2 parcels to USA in last few months both of which have been delivered in less than 48 hrs, I also use them for any Ebay sales, which strangely took 3 to 4 days, bur parcel is trackable. I will put in a hypothetical parcel and see what costs could be.

So a 1k parcel 35cmx28cmx10cm which is a large padded envelope, Hermes economy, they seem to deliver for a wide range of companies, ie Cotton Traders, Readers Digest, J.D.Williams, so in most areas most days, estimated value 20 pounds, this could be reduced as no one to claim ,would be 3-30, collected and delivered could be a good enough secure option, drawback would be being available for courier, plus, which is why I use them, is no visits to P.O.

Unfortunately its been nearly 2 weeks since Longk posted it ,and it was a short hop less than 100 miles, so I will be very surprised if it turns up. :thud:

I would be willing to start one off if we want to try again? I have carrot, Courgette, green beans n sweet peas seeds which I have extras of.

If u want, I could send it to whoever it was on the way to and keep my place at the end so I could possibly still get some different seeds when my turn comes

    Sent from my GT-N7000

I'm not on the list as yet but always check this thread out. :)

It's worth speaking to the post office, they may be able to track it down. I have done this in the past.

Dunno if it had a "Return" address on it, but given that it can get repackaged whilst doing the rounds I wonder if having Pam's address on it might help - in the future I mean.

Stable-door + Horse of course, sorry about that :(

Aaaaw what a shame some nice seeds in there too, you never know it could turn up I had a parcel arrive after 18 days last year sent to me from Bulgaria mind, from a member on here, it was a plant and it survived as did the worm that hitched a lift :heehee: .
            Hope it turns up.

Madahhila has pm d me to say she had a problem with her mail box and several parcels returned to sender,if return addy on, so it will have been sent to Northern Ireland, she is trying to recover it,
Lets see if she gets any news by 21st March then we can perhaps formulate a new parcel, starting where it got lost ???.
I agree with Kristen in future my address must be on envelope as a return address.
