2013 SEED SWAP

Just cut & paste the list into a reply here, and adjust as appropriate (although moving your name to the top of the list may be frowned on!!)

But I think the plan was to start a new list next Autumn, rather than run with the current list, so nothing until then is probably fine

 

Madahhila has posted the parcel to Ariadae at her request, does anyone else want a look see, while we formulate plans for the Autumn swap.

 

The parcel arrived back to me today, in a very sorry state. The post office had put it in a plastic bag with printed apologies on. Hmmm not sure if it`s been "looked at"

Will be storing them until we start the new swap in October, meanwhile,if anyone looking for a particular seed pm me and I will have a look see.

I've added myself to the list for Autumn 2013.....hope that's ok.

 

I think the plan is to have a new list for 2013 ... this is last years and some people may not be active on the site come the Autumn etc. etc.

EDIT: Although I suppose if everyone interested contributes to this thread in some way (including by reposting the list with their name added) then they will at least get a notification when a message is posted here in Autumn 2013

As there has been some posts on the seed swap thread now might be as good a time as any to start planning the next round,

1.rules seem ok to me, any suggestions for changes please let us all know. Strict adherence please, so we all know where it is, it only takes a minute to say when received.

2. current list, run with that as it is, or throw it open for a new one, more than 50% must agree.

 

The list is old, maybe some people on it are not active etc.

Perhaps give priority to anyone who missed out on the last list?

Personally I would suggest starting a new thread and a new list. Re-post the "rules" at top of the new thread. The rules at the top of this thread seem fine to me.

Couple of suggestions:

Parcel to contain return address to Pam

Perhaps parcel to use MyHermes instead of Royal Mail? (Might be worth looking into, but MyHermes was offering an introductory discount - "introducer" and "Newbie" both got a 10% off voucher). I've used MyHermes several times recently and been very pleased with their service - and price Perhaps Pam could introduce people in return for all the effort that goes into managing the whole thing?
