2013 Tomato Growing

No John, please don't update the list yet. I haven't got the room to grow all these, so will only be growing a few. Problem is they are mixed as stated, so I won't have a clue what they are until they fruit.

The top three on my post are definite's and you already have those listed.

Thanks I didn't realise you were on a mission Loli! John and I have already given up, I have no idea what it could be. Perhaps I should send an email to Suttons, it's not listed on their website, so perhaps they won't know either.

 

We'll find it if it's there Sheal would be an idea to mail Suttons

I am fed up with throwing tomatoes away or filling valuable space in the freezer so since it is only Steve and I here I shall only grow a couple and that will be Gardeners Delight and my old favourite from Nursery days Moneymaker!

 

I'll be growing san marzano as my main heavy crop (for making into things/preserving) next year, then a few each of Sungella (like sungold, but more tomato taste) Costoluto Fiorentino, Gardeners Delight, and one other (not decided yet).

Christmas is the time though that I look through the catalogues and online, then decide on next years crops. Only thing I have ordered so far are my spuds.

I've had a reply from Suttons regarding 'Tanaki'. Of course they didn't actually answer my question properly but this is what they've told me.

'Tanaki' has small to medium red fruit and crops heavily. It can been grown in or outside and ripens early.

I assume it's a cordon tomato.
