Seems so - based on the French site I found (link on previous page) which said it was Indeterminate

Thanks Kristen, I can't read French, absolutely hopeless with languages. The other site wouldn't open properly, but not to worry. :) I have the basics on it so will wait and see how it turns out. :dbgrtmb:

Ah, sorry. I use Google Chrome browser and that just automatically translates any foreign page it encouters. I forget that not all browsers do that!

Right, based on what I can find () my list is...

Country Taste F1 (supposed to grow big)
      Roma
Cuore Di Bue (I saw Vince mention them:))
Ferline F1 (for the blight resistance and good flavour)
Rosada F1 (smallish, but superb cooked)
      Sungold F1, obviously:blue thumb:

I'm not quite sure though where all these are going:dunno:

Looking at the seed packets, the urge to sow is starting to build, I must resist!

Just out of interest, can anyone tell me why outdoor varieties can't be grown under cover?

      Cheers...Freddy

A good selection there Freddy. :dbgrtmb: I've grown indoor and outdoor varieties in their reverse locations before now without a problem. You can always do what the 'Fair Maiden' did.

Ride naked on horseback through the streets?:dunno: I'll try it if you think it will help, but I feel bound to say, I have my doubts:heehee:

No, no Freddy! You've got the wrong quote. :heehee: The 'Fair Maiden' took a chance but I'm not going to explain what chance that was though.

Which colour Brandywine? (as there's a few being grown)

                  Code:
                  1 Brandywine Black
                  1 Brandywine Pink
                  1 Brandywine Red
Not heard of that one before. It reminded me of visits to the Stonor Arms for a skinfull of Brakspears some years ago, so I might check it out (the tomato variety rather than the pub, as I believe the latter has gone rather upmarket since the times when I used it as a watering hole).

The Brandy Wine is the red one and the 'Stonor Exhibition' is one i've never heard of but thought i'd give it a whirl:blue thumb:

Freddy, I didn't know that it was advised to keep outdoor ones outdoors :) I just assumed all varieties would grow better under cover, but I have no experience.

PS: I've added Freddy and lolli's varieties to the list at post #1
