This is my first year not growing Marmande/Super Marmande - I went for Mountain Pride this time - was worried that I had made a mistake as the Marmandes normally grow strong and quick - but happy to note others are in the same boat. Two of my Mountain Prides looked today like they had split - normally I would have left it but after seeing informative posts here I removed the one that didnt have any buds up the stem

OK, this is Angelina's Giant in the communal border. Sorry, lousy photo- couldn't get any nearer. A bit thin of stem but it's in the best spot - south facing with a brick wall for protection:

2 from Tee Gee. One from Fuerta Ventura ( left) and on the right A Turkish one . Both mysteries!!

3 weather beaten Red Robins at the back of the salad leaves. Have endured some awful weather over the last few weeks
Toamatoes 10 June 2013 004.JPG On the patio in decent sized pots are Angelina's Giant (left) and Sungold from Scrungee ( right )

And finally, the scruffy, unruly Maskotkas ( 4 small toms forming though) with stocky Red Robins from Scrungee at either end of the 2 boxes.

          Right, here goes :)

          IMAG0301.jpg
One of four troughs of Maskotka (the ones bearing fruit) - loads more in pots that I appear to be stuck with, so I may well be over-run with these!

          IMAG0302.jpg
Ailsa Craigs - two per pot in the big pots

          IMAG0303.jpg
          The chunkiest of the Ailsa's

          IMAG0304.jpg
The Marmande that has started bearing fruit

          IMAG0305.jpg
The rest of the Marmandes with peas hiding in amongst waiting to get planted out.

          IMAG0306.jpg
My Faworyt that are on the verge of getting oiked in the bin

          Continues in next post..

Not too worried about oiking the Faworyt, as I have a few Marmande waiting in the wings....

            IMAG0307.jpg

And now the tenuously linked photos (only because they all have a tomato plant or part thereof in them):

            IMAG0308.jpg

Courgettes already in flower (seriously tempted to keep them in the greenhouse this year)

            IMAG0309.jpg
Courgettes, cucumbers, strawberries and malva zebrina

            IMAG0310.jpg
more strawberries and more malva zebrina, and a few remaining nicotiana

:yay: FC. What a splendid collection of Tomatoes you have and most are sturdy ,stocky plants that have survived all the vagaries of these past months extremely well. And, all the flowers raised from seed look good too. Your green house has come up trumps this year hasn't it?
You are streets ahead of me,

I'm dead chuffed with the greenhouse Jenny namaste - its leagues ahead of the polytunnel, mainly because a lot more light gets in and the airflow is a lot better I think.

Something cathartic about being out there with the radio going whilst pottering away too.

One thing is for sure, after this year's debacle with purchases I reckon nearly everything I do for next year will be from seed.

Is there a dwarf variety of tomato that is also a condon?
I mean most cordon toms grow quite tall - be nice to have a stumpy one that grows big fruit?

                        Hello chums:)

In the greenhouse, mine are making reasonable progress, and I suspect that my first ripe fruits aren't too far away, as in the past, 'Sungold' have ripened very quickly. Anyway, a few pics.....sorry about the fuzzy ones:redface:

Well done Freddy. I'm searching for the ENVY button but I will have to take that up with the Admins ;) . Mine are in the raised bed this year and valiantly trying to cope with the dodgy weather but doing reasonably well all considering. Sungold also far ahead of the others.
