Not anymore. No, i'd thought that the dark liquid in the big sprayer was Bordeaux mixture, it was only when I wasn't seeing the blue colour on the leaves that I thought to check:doh:

Oh yes, had 2 alerts for Dorset this week, but the humidity got me worried up here in Somerset. Been wiped out by it before here.

I had a Full Smiths period alert last week. Bit surprising as I didn't think we had had that sort of wet and hot weather ... No rain to speak of for the foreseable now ...

I am growing Better boy, the flowers are strange, as in just like a Dandelion rather than a bell shape, and about half an inch across

Well, I picked the first three tomatoes today, Sungold. What did they taste like? Not a clue, SWMBO had 'em:)

I've noticed the same thing Freddy, I wonder if that cold spring held them back and now the warm weather has arrived they are really making the most of it.

My marmandes have a darker green top half - is that normal?

It might be 'greenback', a problem caused by too much light/heat! If the green top never ripens then I'm afraid that is the trouble, it is fairly common and means those fruit are inedible.
