Does it look like the package will fit in a 16cm cube box? That's the max size for GPO Small Packet (£3 first class) ... notwithstanding that the GPO lost it last time ...

Has anyone else got seeds to collect in the garden but the seed heads are nowhere near ready? If so is this because of the long cold spring we had?

Fern same here! I was gonna send Pam some seeds but it looks I will only be able to add them to package once it arrives at mine. If I don't manage to collect any cause they not ready I still have seeds to share from shop bought packets that I have.

Every year my seeds are not really ready by the time Pam needs them :( I add what I have to the parcel as it comes past me ... or send them on to someone further down the line to add.

Its the same over here, I've got tons of different tomatoes and peppers that are just ripening now, so they wont obviously make it into the envelope, and there are even a few plants that are just getting tiny fruit, so i'm going to try and transplant those and keep them over the winter.....hopefully.

Just to help me out, so i know what to add to the bubble envelope, are you's looking for tomatoes, peppers, beans, flowers, or just about anything?

For instance, I'll be adding big orange from amuz tomato, glory of moldova tomato, ethiopian tomato, petite marseille pepper, esplette pepper, mexican cayenne pepper, truffe prescoe tomato, things like that....sound good?

        I will measure and see,
I don`t mind hanging on for a week or two, see if we can get more ready for the parcel, I am trying not to leave it too late as we are trying to beat the Christmas rush.

It might be best to stick to the plan as Christmas will be upon us before we know it! I don't mind if it's delayed though.

Last year Pam posted it on 06-Oct and it got to the last person on 20-Dec, and there were 23 people on the list which is an average of 3.25 days per person. I reckon that's pretty good :) Currently only 17 on the list (although Pam may add herself in the middle to do "package quality control procedures" :heehee:)

Pam can I suggest that you start a new thread for the actual "Where is the parcel" otherwise it makes it hard to find where the most recent list is - that can be maintained in this thread?

Or am I over complicating it?

I too think that starting another thread, as Kristen has suggested, is a great idea to track it, to see when it was received and when it was mailed off again.

Maybe once the swap has been started, this current thread can be locked, and that way you wont have people posting in both, easier to keep track of.
