It looks good despite the hail
Only thing is where are you hoping to set a pumpkin or are you trailing it to the floor

Now there's a question:biggrin:...I thought of a set up had it have grown in the direction it was first taking:doh:It'll need to be trained but there are already two Pumpkins on it,not sure if they've set yet but would make life easier if they have:fingers crossed:

Simon nearly killed mine earlier, tried to pick it up. Nearly had to punch him :paladin:

Sort of ex Brother in law, picked the plant up before I could stop him:doh: It's only joined to the roots by a piece of stem the size of my little fingernail

My 978 now has a female flower where I want it, the first few females where quite low on the plant and on secondary vines. I've removed those now as I have one on the main vine at 12ft, just remains now to wait for it to open and polinate it. Arrow on the pic points to where it is.

The 427 is still the strongest plant and I have a female flower at 14ft on the main vine now, which would have put the fruit right at th edge of the bed so I have had to shift the main vine round at 90 degrees to allow any fruit space to grow. Arrow on the pic points to where it is.

Here is a photo of the last two plants, and also the 847 near the top right, this one is now approx 9ft long.

The 1271 continues to grow in a weird way, it does not want to grow in the typical triangular fashion, rather is grows wherever it wants to, however it wants to. Growth is strong and the leaves are bigger and taller than all the other plants.

I've got one pumpkin swelling on each of my two plants, both Atlantic Giant. I'm feeding every other day with comfrey tea:
