2014 Tomato Growing

I'm going on my hols in 5 days and really worried about my toms (& pots & carrots too for that matter) I wanted to buy a hozelock drip irrigation system but t'other half has resisted alleged 'excess money spending' Experimenting with aqua globes (only been in Tom pot a day so-far) but really don't think they'll last 2 weeks!! Got a friend that might pop over twice a week & give them a good soak - that might just keep them going (in conjunction with aqua globes) ...

We are mad aren't we.. but I understand exactly. Mine would curl up in the window box within 3 days and . Hope you get something sorted,

Are they inside or outdoors Loli?

 

They're going on their piggy holidays with a friend ... She's had guinea pigs before, so knows how to look after them.

I think with all our flowers & veg Jenny, they're like pets in a way. We've grown them from seed, watered them, fed them, looked after them when they're not well & given them daily attention. And of course the it all takes.

It's mainly just the lower leaves and they are producing some nice fresh new leaves and fruit but look rather sorry for themselves..

 

any thoughts on what has caused this?

As I understand MM can suffer in high temperatures as specially as hot as it's been up here,but @Sheal will be able to put us right

 

I'm certainly not experienced enough to diagnose ... But I noticed on the larger picture that some of the leaves looked unwell. I'm sure somebody will be along shortly to diagnose ...
