    I'd be worried about Solanine content, don't go trying them out on yourself :yikes: You might die of Death :thud::sad:

    I don't think that chemical constitution of FRUIT of a Tomato is going to be influenced by what you graft it ONTO, but rather disease resistance / vigour etc.

    But ... I have absolutely no knowledge to base this assumption on!!

      If you nip out the growing point on a seedling then it sends out two equal sized sideshoots just above the cotyledons (the first seed leaves). Then graft different scions onto each sideshoot :blue thumb:

        Of course! Penny has now dropped :)

        Struggling, now, to figure out how they could automate that - the grafting machines I have see are brutal, just chopping the heads off the rootstock with a spinning machete!
