You think? :) I've read lots on the Cannabis forums. Never smoked, let alone done drugs, and don't even drink anymore ... but I admire the Fine Art that those boys have got their growing down to, and there is lots of useful info on their sites for anyone wanting to grow under Lights etc.

I even came across a discussion about growing Saffron on the basis that "It's such a high value crop, and with our combined growing skills, how hard would it be to make a mint" :heehee:

The thing that interested me most was the discussions they had about minutia of growing techniques and how it effected "quality". I have no idea if their discussions were subjective? or skewed by anything?!! They certainly have special setups for plant raising - mostly from cuttings, although I guess many growers start off from seed of "special strains" - I suppose not much different from Giant Onion growers selectively choosing & breeding seed

No you're not late. I'm starting early for my experiments with grafting tomatoes. The grafting process sets them back a fortnight hence my early start. I'm planning to sow the rest of my 'normal' seeds (i.e. non-grafted) in mid-march. Some members have started earlier if they have a greenhouse, heat and grow-lights for example.

Don't rush and sow just yet if you can't provide protection for them later on. Tomato plants grow fast and finding space on a kitchen windowsill can be a problem before planting them out after the last frost (mid-may time?)

Nah, I haven't sowed a single tomato seed yet - next week or so for me I reckon.
