2015 Tomato Growing

Hooorahhhh....4 Ripe Tumbling Toms

I'm not eating them I'm just going to stare at them....

 

One of my Sungold (greenhouse) is on the turn
I checked back on the 2013 Tomato thread, and noted that my first tomato ripened on July 15th, so not as far behind as I thought.

 

The first of my beefsteaks is ready. It comes in at 570 grams, or 1 pound 4 ounces if you went to school at the same time as me.
I know that beefsteaks can be ugly, but some of mine this year are starting to take advantage of my good nature.

 

What, like this one?

When that ones ripe, I might use it in a big cheese and tomato sandwich just before going to bed

 

I had to harvest my top ugly - its started to split & go mouldy on the bottom:

Not sure if I can salvage any part but should be able to liquidize some for cooking if nothing else.

 

Irregular watering? Always my worry with outdoor toms if not kept moist before thunderstorms, and also polytunnel toms if going on hols and soaking before departing and again on my return.

 

dont think its the watering - its mostly automatic ; I have had a huge range of temperature in the greenhouse this year & Ive been damping it down from time to time ; possibly some water got into the cracks when I wasnt looking. It is the only one thats gone quite that odd so the rest should be ok.. if the sun comes back...

 

They've slowed down in the cooler weather and haven't made it to the apex by end July as I'd hoped.

 

Hi, I have one tomato on one of the Money Makers and lots of flowers though some seem to have closed and look all shriveled up which have been on plant for weeks like that. should I remove them?
