      Cloudy morning, now sunshine 7c and at the back of the house a Butterfly flew by :yikes:
      Not sure if it's late or an early one ;)

        The mild weather has lead to Red Admirals barely hibernating and can be seen occasionally now.:smile:

          Hello, can anyone let me know what this moth(?) is please? It's on a buddelia I have had for about a year and is growing like mad at the moment (the buddleia not the moth ;)).

          Also there are lots of tiny green pellets type things under some of the leaves, but not all of them and didn't know if they were connected to this moth as well?

              WOW thank you @mazambo that's amazing, looks just like it! Is there a site to search for butterflies, moths etc.? or did you search for the description, I never thought to do that :doh:

                There's a few sites, it's a matter of filtering and finding a name for the pattern, I started with colour and what I thought was stripes but turned out to be bars and luckily dropped on the tortrix family.
