    It's not gruesome. It's an awareness campaign ad.

    It shows a family swimming. The dad starts splashing around. Someone on a passing boat jumps in and swims rapidly toward the group. You think the rescuer is going for that dad but he ignores him and goes straight to the kid that just looks relaxed in the water. Relaxed because exhaustion and oxygen deprivation have done their thing. The kid is in the late stages of drowning. He is rescued.
