    You can set up a shortcut to use the Over-strike font (where it appears you have crossed out text). On some forums pressing Ctrl-S will do this, but that doesn't appear to work for me on ZenForo - there will be some other key combination that will do it.

            On a serious note i don't think its anything to do with the Ins key after a google search, I will have a word with my Daughter see if she can shed any light on it.

              Something like this happened on some Dell laptops several years ago and that was caused by a faulty driver.
