A Joke Or Two 2023/24

I liked the other 'Hedgehog Story' too. About the driver who spotted a hedgehog in the middle of a narrow road. He held up a long line of traffic and leapt out to rescue the critter. When he got near it, he realised that it was not a hedgehog but a pile of horse poo. Having held up several drivers, and not wanting to lose face, he picked up the pile of horse poo and placed it carefully on the verge. He was applauded by all of the waiting drivers!

 

Brings back memories of Victor Meldrew and his slipper.

Not really a joke as such.

 

I passed a house the other day with that 'no trespassing' sign at the driveway entrance @Ladybird4. Made me laugh out loud !

I've just noticed the posts about the hedgehog. A while ago I was walking home, and I spotted something tucked in against a garden wall, and it looked hedgehog-gy. As I got nearer, and could see it wasn't moving, I feared the worst, especially as it was small.
Turned out to be a bit from a coarse brush head...but was very realistic from a distance!
