Stunning as always Armandii, I, like Ziggy took a fancy to your teasels as well. :)

Some people don't like Teasels, Sheal, but for me they're very attractive to Bees, Hoverflies and other insects. They also stand the Winter very well and look fantastic covered in frost. They may be a biennial but they are in my borders every year and mine get to around 7' or more in height. You, like Ziggy, have got an eye for the good plants!!:snork:

Out of all those plants you have in your garden Armandii, some very unusual, it's ironic that Ziggy and I picked the teasels out. I like plants that are less ostentatious which is possibly why I prefer my own garden to be more traditional. It wouldn't do for us to all be the same eh? :)

Teasels might be a common plant but they're not common place in gardens. It's a plant of character and stands out amongst the crowd without being ostentatious. I sometimes find that the beauty of a small plant can out class a big plant next to it. I try to be "traditional" but my liking and impulse buying of all kinds of plants does blur the interpretation somewhat!!! No, you're right "it wouldn't do for us to all be the same".........how boring would that be. :ideaIPB: Maybe that's why I've got such a variety of plants, lengthening the flowering season, and stopping it from being boring!!!:heehee:

Loved the walk around the garden Armandii, and didn't even have to move from my chair! Definitely has the look of belonging to a plantsman. Thank you

I'm just wildflowers department, the rest of it tends to go straight over my head unless its got a great big edible pod hanging from it.
