When this lot put in for a pay rise last week I was hoping it would be turned down then they would all have gone on stike and we could have seen how much we miss them,David the only way we can make them stop is to have a successfull gunpowder plot. :D

    Cajary,
You have to tell everyone when you move now as its is.
I cant see that as a stumbling block for the poll tax.

It would probably have to be plastic explosive these days walnut.

The "Plastic Explosive Plot" dont seem to have the same ring to it. :D

Pete, I don't have to tell anyone where I'm moving to. Kent wouldn't be bad. I lived there for a year. The girls were very friendly and Faversham had a heated, outdoor, swimming pool. It's probably "affordable housing" now! :D

A place to rant, that`s what I called this thread, and so, I am going to rant. I started a lighthearted string on the " non gardening "thread about this afternoons rugby match between England and Wales. There has not been one response. Yesterday, a distressed lady started a string about possible cruelty to cats and you people crucified her, I hope you are all happy with yourselves.

Well said David.I doubt very much if she will ever want to come back to this site after all the things people said about her.It makes me cringe just reading it.To some people it was a bit of light hearted banter but to that sensitive lady it was something worse.I could say more but I won't I will just keep my thoughts on different things that have gone on in the past to myself.

And who wants the Conservatives back in power with their Millions unemployed,Manufactoring jobs decimated Interest rates so bxxxxy high that many people had their homes reppossed prescription charges going up every year, long waiting times to see Hospital Doctors low wages etc etc...People went on strike to save their jobs and their dignity. If the workers don't stand up for their beliefs then the bosses would walk all over them and we would probably go back to having to vote for who the bosses told us to vote for,not for the demoratic way in which we are allowed to vote...

The Tory party have always been for the rich in this country and always look after their own kind. They will never ever be interested in doing anything for the ordianry working classes...
