A quick look at the new garden

    There are a lot of artifacts that have no place in landfill, let alone a garden! Check this out................

    It's a polystyrene bird bath style planter - truly hideous!!!

      That was by far the worst piece of tat so far!!!!
      There are four of them if anyone wants any! Can't even give them away on Freegle!!!

        The central bed is now "done"!

        This last bit was pretty heavy going because of the roots of the Swamp Cypress, Wisteria and other smaller shrubs. It was also pretty full of Perriwinkle, and under the Daylilies was a bramble too.

        The area where the shovel is laying is where I intend putting my Gloriosa............

          The west side is totally dry. The east side has been pointed in places and has a huge cement cap along the length of it - not good, but not my wall apparently......

          Thanks JWK - it has held me back, but not too many weeds returning. I've obviously disturbed a lot of seeds though............

          It is far nicer than the wooden fence at my old house, but a potentially expensive worry..........

          So is owning a real diamond tiara ( so I'm led to believe) but SO much classier darling....
          How's that clematis montana? Haven't seen any evidence of it yet,
