My take on this...it was one of a group of four. The others being Parsley, Sage, and Thyme....:snorky:

Love it! British-ness at its best :heehee:

Put me in mind of our Follymon's style of "gardening"

Indeed. I thought similar. I wonder where he got to. I used to love following his projects.

I looked at two other videos, parts 2 and 3 of the same thing. The third showed how he made them. Totally fascinating...heres part 3:

When someone tells me: "It's not difficult ... just put your rubber gloves on and pinch a bit here ... like that ... " then I know it is beyond my skills! :heehee: He is one very creative thinking individual. Thank you for introducing him to us

Just had a look at this post , it starts with the canal at Wigan Pier . And Kevin Duffy is broad Wigan . Googled where it is , it's in Garswood near Wigan . In fact I drive past it everyday on my way to work ! Eccentric gardens like this are not really my cup of tea . Mannequins in wedding dresses and top hats are downright spooky :hate-shocked: But then he does have two Cockers ,so he must be a good 'un :wagtail:

@Sandy Ground , if you can PM me the full address , I'll call in when the weather improves. I am sure MrsH will love a drive out to it  I presume it may be open to visitors on Sundays in February ?

Found Kevin Duffys nursery on StreetView . It is on the main road and has a car park. So it is an actual nursery that sells bags of compost etc !Not exactly my cup of tea but will see if I can visit.
Not sure if this Streetview picture will attach ?

Was there a pub opposite the car park?

On streetview the Bluebell Pub is directly opposite the nursery . Which is on the corner of Rectory Rd and Elm Avenue .
