    thanks dancing queen, its was a fab event, apparently shes doing another tour in october probably before she leaves for dubai

    thank you kathy, yes it was great will never forget the experience, just copied them all onto disc cd and dvd, so i can watch them anywere.

    sorry so slow in appreciating your photos. i used to work for cunard in southampton. i went to the 10th anniversary of the qe2 and nearly ended up stowing away with my friend!
    i wanted to get down for the 'greatest' ship, but couldn't. hope it was a glorious day for you.
    i saw the latest cunard ship docked in southampton last year ( i think it wasn't 2 years), & it's ten times bigger but just doesn't have the majesty the qe2 does.
    great to think i did boring things like stock checks on her!
    good pics. did you see the flag waving that was suppoosed to be done by the kids as a kind of 'red carpet'?

    hi borrowers, pleased you like my photos, it must of been something working on such a magnificent ship, she is a beauty.
    It was a great 2 days enjoyed watching her so much and all the fireworks going off on tynemouth pier for her arrival and departure.
    Didnt see the flag although we had red flags flying on the cliff probably to symbolise the red carpet, great time i will treasure the experience forever and have the photos to keep xx
