FYI it turns out that there is no system in place for choosing the order of smileys!
And the drop down display shows them all regardless.

I've joined a petition trying to get the developers of XF to install on so we can choose the the order and what shows up in the drop down menu like before but it's been running a while already so don't hold your breath!

 

This new one is just so me
