Ah, Our Mandy, just wanted I needed at this moment in time: a gentle stroll around your paradise looking at all the lush growth raising their hearts to the sun.
Tranquil; colourful; though provoking and well loved!

@Sheal most times if adding another letter makes sense then I just assume it's a typo, but that didn't work this time so I had to ask!!

@ARMANDII Whenever I see your garden I always think what a paradise this must be for the birds, bees, insects etc, absolutely beautiful. Are you going to 'rescue' the seat from the ivy?

You mean it's not really called "ubbub"?:doh:, I've always called it that:dunno::heehee: That particular pic in the thread is called "Daffodils and ubbub":snork:

Thanks, "M", I'm getting a stock of wine in so I can sit in the Arbour, when it gets warmer, and in the evening watch the Sun going doing and what's going on in the garden.:hapydancsmil:
Hi Val, it seems to be a good year for the bird population as I've got at least 3 Blackbirds nesting in the two Conifers, plus one at front in the Hotel Pyracantha which also has sparrows etc nesting there. One of the Blackbirds comes when whistled for his breakfast of Sultanas and doesn't mind me being only inches away when gulping down breakfast [him not me}.
I seem to be seeing more and more Tits, Blue, Coal, Crested, and Great, this year flitting from the Lilac to the Acers and various shrubs. I'm starting to see more Bees although not in great numbers as yet, I'm just hoping that they, or the Wasps, don't nest in the Compost Heap again as they have done for the last couple of years.
The ivy covered seat is by the pond and has gradually got covered more and more by it. I usually just prune it back a bit so I've still got some where to sit but I've noticed a couple of Clematis have decided to join the Ivy so I need to gently train them so I can still sit there. It's a spot out of sight of the House when the Jasmine Hedge is fully grown and, believe me, it is very tranquil and peaceful down there with a good chance of having birds drinking from the pond only a couple of feet away.

Hi Joolz, Spring should be knocking on your door properly soon!! I think Spring this year is near enough right on time, although maybe a little bit indecisive. My first real amble is always a great uplifter of the spirits and a defence against the dank, dark, miserable days of the Winter especially seeing all the shoots poking out of the soil along with the early flowering harbingers of Spring.:hapfeet::hapydancsmil::coffee:

It's always been called ubbub in my house, rhubarb is the posh name for it! I like your choice of picture title. :dbgrtmb:

                Armandi fantastic garden,

I'm inspired but alas I have such a tiny garden, having various hiddy holes is gonna be out of the question, unless it's the gap behind the shed, but alas nothing grows there not even the humble weed....

And tranquility is something I won't get in my garden no matter how many plants I plant, until Mrs Gobby from the house at the back of my garden finally decides to move out and terrorise another neighbourhood... Tis not the humble bird I hear but her flippen gob shouting at her noisy kids from when she drags herself out of her bed at around 11 until around 10 at night....
