Are there no very nearby ponds in your area you could take some to? seems a tad sad them being in tubs and if you could save them all you wouldnt need 3000 frogs in the garden :heehee: also i read yonkies back that they reckon frogs now there long n lattitude so they now their way back to your pond  my tadpoles are hiding in the algae on the side of our fish pond [IMG]

There's plenty of water around here, Joolz, Cheshire is famous for it's Meres. I'd have to get the permission of the owners to put them in lakes etc just to be sure I don't upset the ecology. If you get a wet soggy packet in the post............you know what it is:snork:

Jack's correct in saying that they will need to be able to climb out of the water as they develop.

It's Toads not frogs that only return to the pond they were spawned in Joolz, Frogs will breed in any clean still or very slow running water, which is why they are seen in ponds much more fequently than Toads.

Well, in accordance with Strongyldon's suggestion I've moved the Tadpoles into two buckets fill will rain water from my water butts and added some weed:

I've also added a bit more weed after I took the pic.:snork:

Why two buckets Armandii? Is it to seperate the girls from the boys? Must have taken a while sorting them out.

Ah that makes sense, I thought you were keeping the sexes apart, don't want any more now.
