    I have bought parts from EuroCarparts ( I know not independent ) but they were dearer as well.
    The big independent factor in our area is Ledsons , I was not sure where they are located now . Just had a look - next door to EurocarParts !

    @HarryS I used to have a mate worked there, known as "Big Paul." He passed away some years ago. Do you remember him?

    @Sandy Ground , sorry I can't recall "Big Paul" at Ledsons factors . It must be 20 years since I last used them.

    I need a new rear wiper blade for my mini, Halfrauds £11, local motor factors £7, so I enquired as to price of front also, £8, so going for a full set later today, he said he would "chuck em on" for me too.
