              Yes thats Versaille , probably the best example of a formal garden. I would love to visit it , I am not a fan of pristine geometric layouts , but it is an amazing sight.

              I visited there in the late '70's but I shouldn't imagine it's changed much. The gardens weren't my cup of tea but they were beautifully laid out and the palace itself is stunning inside but somewhat gaudy. Definitely a place to visit. :)

              Great gardens Bilbo and Trunky :dbgrtmb: , Trunky that grass is emaculate where's the dandelions!!!, they duck down here and pop up after mowing :biggrin: ,I must write 100 lines must get weed and feed must get weed and feed lol.
              Mine looks better from upstairs too especially from the youngests bedroom mmm she's moved out now maybe we could swap rooms :hapydancsmil: , must take a picture.

                      Bottom lawn which is a bit of a natural area for wildlife. Shed, compost heap and on left of she'd the area that I am building new chicken run.

                        Shiney the neighbours haven't been in long
                        and they have had to completely gut the inside as the house and garden hadn't been touched for about 10 years. They have actually put a strummer over it though the nettles were as high as the fence before.
