This is yet another of my Chiltern Seed gems so I give photo credit to wwww.rareplants.de. Hopefully, I shall be able to put up my photographs of all these climbers in the coming Spring/Summer/Autumn. [IMG] :rolleyes\:

Ho, hum ... camera in hand today I took this photo of Lonicera but I don't know if it's periclymenum or americana. The person I took the cutting from thought it was Japanese but it neither has white flowers nor black berries. It is scented.

I'll try to get an ID on it when next it blooms, which seems to be intermittently! [IMG]

Unfortunately my Lonicera semprevirens looks very sad as I have already cut it back to buds. I've had it here for several years and it's never been evergreen albeit in a protected position.

Monstera Marmorata, haven't seen one of these since I grew this one nearly 20 years ago.

I thought they all were, Dendro! Ha, here we go again! :D But, must say, I don't know this lovely variegated one! A real beaut, Strongy!

We had friends in Bucks, he was my bowling partner (I'm quite good at that as well as snooker!) who had one (not the varieagated) that took over one wall of his living room .... it was quite mind-boggling! :D

Dendy, if you look at a monstera you will see that it grows at an angle (it's only us that make it grow straight) in order to grow up and around trees. It then throws out aerial roots which root in the ground for more support, it's not nasty like the strangler fig. [IMG]

The only N I can think of is nasturtium - can we use that, or keep it for T? I've got a lovely photo of the Tropaeolum speciosum that I use all over the place that I'd like to keep for T, but an ordinary nasturtium clambering all over the place might fit the bill....

Go for it ... the one I planned on for O is the "common name" ...

I'll see if I can find one - but I won't be offended if somebody sneaks in one first! Honest! :D

I know this is pathetic ... but this is my Nasturtium variegated (possibly Tropaelum majus "Alaska Variegata")which has lovely pale yellow/orange flowers ....

And I'm doing the next one for Kedi-Gato as this is her Orchid Cactus (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) ...

She gave me one already a metre tall (and I think she had trimmed it) but I didn't know where to put it so gave it away! There is one in the town near us that grows up a lamp post and must be 15 foot tall!

We call it the Aunt Rene plant as it was our aunt who had the plant for many, many years. :D

My nasturtiums turned out to be very nearly as pathetic as yours, LoL!

So we're on to Q - mmmmmmm! There must be a climbing quince... [IMG]
