Bayleaf, I don't know about the Zebrinas but you could put the Zehneria scabra in when we get back to Z.

... and here's a picture of your lovely Dalechampia dioscoraefolia ...

Seems like I was beaten to the post with D, I took a pic of this shrub in the casino gardens in Puerto de la Cruz (again) without knowing what it was and didn't find out for months after. I didn't realise it was a climber as the one I saw was a free standing shrub.
Hope you don't mind if I slip mine in too.(!)
    It looks so similar.

I don't know if it's the leaves or shadows, but the one side of the flower (or are they brachts?) is three lobed on both sides of the Top Tropicals pic and only on one side of yours, Strongy. Or is it just in a different development stage? There is a shrub but your flower looks like the vine.

Lovely plant, I'll have to keep a lookout for it. As I'm into climbers, this thread has really got me wanted everything now! :D

It's the same plant LoL, as there is only one other species and that only grows up to 2ft.
I had never seen or heard of it until two years ago. it was in the Jungle Seeds catalogue that I found out what it was as they had it for sale (as a plant) but it's not in this years so it has been discontinued. not sure about it's hardiness though.

Ficus repens / Ficus pumila. In warmer climates it is used like ivy to climb up walls or cover trees and various unsightly objects ...

Well done LoL, never thought of that one, should grow outside where you are, only just outside of growing here (will take a light frost). Ficus Radicans will also climb, didn't think of that one either. Must be slipping. By the way, thanks for my "Lucky Nuts". [IMG]
Will try to germinate them although they are known to be tricky and are usually grown from cuttings. [IMG]

No, no, no, Strongy! K-G brought these back in the winter (to North Germany) and as far as I know "stuck them in pots in her unheated wintergarden" and they sprouted. Will discuss this with her and get back to you in a couple of days!
