Adenium obesum (Desert Rose)

Have the leaves fallen off then now?

 

No. That was on 4 February. Some are nekkid but some are not. Think I might have J bring them out today. Will photograph when they come out. The above one was the really floriferous one and the only one I have without a caudex.

 

Can't wait to see them in their full glory Vicky, you'll have a truly stunning display.

 

Had J bring them out of the The Baffa to the front coffee table. The little ones are leafless.

 

I bought another Adenium obessum yesterday called Anouk (my others are not 'named' ...


I moved the large ones to the step on the Raised Patio and left the babies on the coffee table ...

 

That's a nice looking plant @Victoria, nice and strong and the flower is a pleasant colour

 

I spent two hours this morning repotting the five large Adeniums into shallower pots ...

 

Had to do a tidy up on 'Anouk' this morning because a cat/bird ??? dug out some soil ...



So I sprinkled cinnamon and beds around the bottom.

 

That's looking really good, are any of your seedlings flowering yet?

 

No, I lost a few, possibly because they have to live outdoors all the time. Some of the smaller ones have new growth and the 'Big Five' as I call them on the step by the water feature are all starting to bud now.

How are yours?

 

I've only got the one plant now and apart from having a fairly impressive caudex it doesn't flower very much, it tends to get RSM and mealy bugs which doesn't help.

 

@pete This is my 'Nursery' ...



I have five seedlings still *bottom right, bottom left and three in a pot. They don't seem to be doing much but are alive with tiny leaves. I think they are a double Yellow.

 

Are you saying the rest are cuttings, they look well enough.

 

Sorry Pete, I didn't see this question. No, the bigger ones are perhaps a year old or 18 months.

My first Red one of "the Big Five" on the step which I bought grown up is blooming ...
