Advice needed - not 'Elf and Safety

Thinking about this again and not meaning to be funny, but have you looked to see if there is a locking button on the side of the trigger. Very often there would be a simple push in button that is pressed in once the trigger is squeezed.

If not, then a very simple one could be made. Turn off and disconnect the pressure washer, squeeze the trigger in and then drill a small hole through the side of the handle unit and trigger. Into this, you could then push a small nail each time that you use washer.

Roll of Gaffa tape. Wrap tape round handle, squeeze trigger, fold tape over trigger. Away ya go.
