Advice on climbers

    True Mike, i was a where of what i was planting with this vine and it there to serve a temporary purpose, i think the reason most people dont like it is because they didn't read about its true capabilities, stick it in a pot it will restrict its growth and you know where its roots are make a nice plant leave it in the ground un attended and it will take over,

    It also acts as good supports for other climbers, all this is now dead wood as ive cut the plant at its roots.

      I've got a Russian vine in a very large pot. As mentioned it can be quite tenacious but it can be useful. I'm thinking of moving mine but the spot I where I want to put it is likely going to be too exposed and windy

        Now I hadn`t thought about the plant that way - goes to show how chatting about a subject can open the possibilities. I think you have to say ''thinking outside the box'' these days....to be fashionable :snorky:
