Agave americana

Oh goodness, I had forgotten about those pics. If I ever come upon them again, I will post them, although they were not really good and clear.


In the meantime, I have some pics of giant agaves taken recently in Cyprus. They were on the coast not far from our hotel.

Although I am standing in a ditch, you can still see how tall these are. I've never seen such monster ones before.








These ones, not quite so tall as the others, were just about 500 meters up the coast from the first group.

 

What beauties, that's what I call a flower.
