    My eyes water for you.
Seems this gardening lark can indeed be very dangerous

Capney, so sorry to read of your battle with the Agave. I hope that the Docs help fix your nose pretty soon and sympathies about the Osteo. That is not nice at all.

Capney make sure that they cautorise your nose or you could end up with a four way split as the nut says if you get it qarterised or made smaller if you get it quaterize,:D:Dgood luck anyway.:thumb:

Robert you have my sympathies.I had an Agave Americana that someone bought me in a display. It was ok when it was small but as it grew it was murder to ropot on and every time i walked past it it did it's upmost to spike me on the leg.

In the end I got a thick pair of gardening gloves and armed with an old carving knife I got it out of it's pot and started chopping it to pieces. It was then chucked in the recycling bin and I slammed the lid on it.Good riddance and no more will I or anyone else get hurt by the blasted thing:p:rolleyes:

I do hope you start to feel better sson after your nasty experience Robert:thumb:

You was brave to let it out the pot first!
Think I upturned mine direct into the bin.
And then put a concrete block on the lid......

Thumb is no worse or better thanks Nut.
Biggest problem I have is the thumb will give me wellie just as I pick up the 10 year old..the liquid gold that is.
You see it thins the blood and aids the circulation.
